The Black Iron Collective–consisting of Red Cod Forge, Soggy Dog Forge, Crossed Heart Forge, and two other local smiths–have reorganized the blacksmith workshop and provided several Saturday demonstrations for visitors to the museum property throughout the year. Hand forged tools, implements, and decorative items made in the coal forge as well as traditional blades made in the Japanese style charcoal swordsmith forge.
