Exhibition Opening for FROM MANY, ONE: The Story in Repetition
Free Event!
Join us for the official opening of our latest exhibition!. Featuring work from 15 artists from across British Columbia, the exhibition brings together diverse approaches across media, reflecting on the relationship between the singular and the collective, and the stories that unfold through repeated forms, actions, and cycles.
Many artists will be in attendance at the opening reception, with several offering free or low-cost workshops and activities throughout the exhibition.

Drumming Together! Intro to Rock and Roll Drumming for Older Adults
Join Joy On Drums in this fun beginner friendly class to drum together to classic rock and roll songs. This class will teach you drum warm ups, rudiment and sticking patterns and beginner rock beats on a drum kit. Get your body moving and play music with your friends.
Fee: $20 per person
Limited to 8 participants

Artist Talk with Jenny Judge
Free Event!
Jenny Judge will be giving a talk about her work and its relation to the show's theme of 'repetition.'
Focusing on a few projects over the last 20 years where repetition is a key element, she will also bring the moulds and examples of the processes she uses to duplicate, iterate, and repeat in wax, ceramics and glass.

Primitive Rug Hooking
with Jamie Girouard
Learn how to create a functional rug using basic, upcycled materials, and/or bring your own textile crafts and supplies to share at this 'hook-in' event. You will be able to complete a small piece during the session. Hooks will be available for purchase from the instructor after the workshop.
Fee: By donation (suggested $5–$10 per person). Limited to 10 participants with supplies provided.
Additional spots are available for those who can bring their own tools and materials.
Material sharing and swaps encouraged!
