The Treasure Trove

The Archives is a treasure trove of historical information about Parksville, Nanoose Bay, Coombs, Errington, French Creek, Hilliers and Lasqueti Island. Whether you are looking for historical photographs (we have over 6,000!), maps, charts, newspapers or general information about pioneer families, our professional volunteer archivists can help you!

Heritage Gift Gallery: Opening Social
Thursday, Nov 13, 4-6pm

Be among the first to explore our new Heritage Gift Gallery! We’re proud to showcase the work of 28 talented local makers. From ornaments and accessories to ceramics, jewellery, original wall art, woodwork, and awesome home décor — you’re sure to find the perfect gift for your favourite people (and maybe yourself too!).

Enjoy light refreshments and snacks, and discover their unique creations — all taking place within our Main Hall. Some of the artists will be in attendance!

Can’t make it to the opening social? You can pop by to explore the Heritage Gift Gallery Thursday through Monday, 12–4 PM, until December 21, and during our many special holiday events throughout the season.
