@ Parksville Museum

 

 

Calling rail enthusiasts and hobbyists of all ages! All aboard for the return of Railway Day - packed with locomotive excitement for rail fans. Prepare to be dazzled by intricate model railways, explore the swap & shop booths for unique finds, or walk through Craig's Cabin to learn more about the E&N Railway.

Mark your calendars and join us for a day filled with trains, fun, and memories! Admission is by donation (cash or card accepted), so pay-as-you-may to enjoy this family-friendly and hobbyist-dream of a day.

Come see "Mysticssippi" bluesman Harry Manx LIVE in concert at Parksville Museum's village courtyard. Called an essential link between the music of the East and West, you won't want to miss this show!
Tickets available at the Museum office, Parksville Visitor Centre, or online via Eventbrite. Limited tickets sold at gate.
Gate opens at 5pm. BYO lawn chair. Shade provided. Craft beer and food truck on site.

Holiday Series

Come enjoy classic Christmas caroling at Parksville Museum held inside Knox Heritage Church courtesy of Knox United's Choir! Listen to some Christmas cheer, see the decorations, get some hot chocolate, and take a photo with Santa!

Calling Railway Enthusiasts Of All Ages

Our annual Railway Day event is back! Enjoy the many model railroad displays and swap tables, and listen to some great live music courtesy of Topazz. New this year is our beer garden featuring local craft beer and pizza from Craig Street Pizza.

Join us on Sunday, August 13th from 10am - 4pm for this fun, family-friendly event.

Vancouver Island locals Lighthouse Country Band and Without a Net perform together at Parksville Museum's 1912 Knox Heritage Church. Get lost in the moody atmosphere of a wood-paneled classic church while listening to classic gospel songs and island original music.

Summer Series

Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce and Parksville Museum have teamed up to put on a market this fall. For September and October, every Friday will be market Friday here at 1245-1275 Island Hwy East. Swing by for some local goods, enjoy live music, try out some new food at the trucks, and tour the lit-up museum in the twilight.

The outdoor Music @ the Museum series is back, and it’s bigger and better than ever! Check out our incredible line-up, featuring blues guitarist David Gogo and folk rock legend Valdy in the month of July. Enjoy some great music, as well as local craft beer and artisan pizza from Craig Street Pizza. Bring your lawn chair, grab some sunscreen and join us

Thursday evenings from 6 - 8pm. Tickets available at the gate, or in advance at the Museum office.
