Sing-Along to Classic Christmas Carols lead by local choral director, Patricia Plumley, inside Parksville's old Knox Heritage Church on the grounds of Parksville Museum. Stay warm inside our heated chapel, enjoy our brand new pew cushions, and cuddle up with blankets as you take part in this classic holiday tradition.

Trick or treaters can go door to door in Parksville Museum’s decorated and lit-up village. Come costumed for goodies, activities, live music from WOODSTICK, and most importantly: candy. Let spookiness ensue! Family Friendly, Free Admission, Open to the Public.

Dustbowl Music Live in the Old Church
Playing a combination of gospel, country, folk, and island originals, Spare Parts brings their listeners on a journey through the heart of the island and Lighthouse Country. Sit inside Knox Heritage Church, built in 1912, and enjoy a a concert surrounded by history.

September 12, 2024: Classics in the Courtyard
Experience instrumental classics in the early autumn air at Parksville Museum’s cozy village courtyard. With a diverse repertoire of classical, original, and well-known tunes, Janelle Nadeau lends her innovative approach to the harp to concertgoers. Along with Ashton Lim, an accomplished Vancouver orchestral player, chamber musician, soloist, and teacher, the duo will bring listeners on a journey this September.

Calling rail enthusiasts and hobbyists of all ages! All aboard for the highly anticipated return of Railway Day - a thrilling event packed with locomotive excitement for rail fans. Prepare to be dazzled by intricate model railways, explore the swap & shop booths for unique finds, or walk through Craig's Cabin to learn more about the E&N Railway.
Mark your calendars and join us for a day filled with trains, fun, and memories! Admission is by donation (cash or card accepted), so pay-as-you-may to enjoy this family-friendly and hobbyist-dream of a day.

Autumn Artisan Market @ the Museum
Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce and Parksville Museum have teamed up to put on a market this fall. For September and October, every Friday will be market Friday here at 1245-1275 Island Hwy East. Swing by for some local goods, enjoy live music, try out some new food at the trucks, and tour the lit-up museum in the twilight.Fridays from 5pm-8pm from September 8th-October 27th, 2023

Our annual Railway Day event is back! Enjoy the many model railroad displays and swap tables, and listen to some great live music courtesy of Topazz.
