The Parksville Museum tells our stories, preserves our heritage, and welcomes everyone.
To be alive with stories and activities that celebrate Parksville’s past and present.
Our story began in 1975, when a group of visionary residents saved the Knox Heritage Church from demolition. After forming the Parksville & District Historical Society in 1976, the group secured lands from the City of Parksville to create a heritage park. The Knox Church was moved to the park in 1983, heralding the beginning of the Parksville Museum as we know it today.
